Day 7 (83.7 kg - 22.5% Body Fat)

Weight and Body Fat
Ok, today I've reached the same weight again that I had when I started my McDiet. Apparently, my body fat percentage went down from 24.5% to 22.5%, which means although I didn't lose weight, my body fat decreased about 1.7 kg from 20.5 kg down to 18.8 kg.

This is not what I had expected, but I find it ok. Let's see what the next weeks will bring.

Breakfast
Although I got up earlier today, I didn't feel hungry until noon. So I skipped breakfast once more.

Lunch
For lunch I had the Quarterpounder with Cheese and another tasty Low Fat Strawberry Yoghurt. They have Lemon Coke light at Plaza Singapura, so I had one for lunch and then another one for the go.

I was particularly impressed that they were able to reproduce my receipt after 10 minutes, as I had forgotten to ask for it when I got my meal.

Afternoon snack
As I was downtown, I had to try the McCafé at the Shaw Building. Actually, this is no real McDonald's restaurant. I even left when I was there for the first time, because I thought someone just had copied the "Mc" for the name, as there were no signs of any link to McDonald's corporation. Fortunately, on the receipt it says "McDonald's", so there should be no doubt that I really had McDonald's products. (I won't go there on a regular basis, as it's not what you would normally associate with McDonald's. I just wanted to try it.)

So what did I have? A Chicken Pesto, a large cappuccino and a mineral water. The Chicken Pesto was delicious, but I have no idea how many calories are in there, as there was no nutrition info available, neither on site nor on their website. I estimate that the Chicken Pesto has less than a premium burger, therefore I assess it with 500 kcal, and the cappuccino (due to the milk) with 200 kcal. Hey - they had sweetener there!

The place is also nice. Many small, semi-separated tables on some kind of steps. It's in the heart of Singapore, but really a good place to relax. They also play some relaxing music.

Dinner
When I came back from the city, just for fun I alighted one station beyond my "own" one to try the McDonald's at Compass Point. They had Lemon Coke light there as well! (Why don't they have it at the three McDonald's within walking distance to my place?)

I tried to only have the Fish McDippers with small fries (plus a Lemon Coke light, of course). But eventually I ended up with an additional Strawberry Sundae and an extra Lemon Coke light.

Calories
Today's calories add up to 2.164. I'd guess I've overassessed the Chicken Pesto and the Cappuccino, so maybe it's only about 2.000 kcal...
