Day 5 (84.1 kg - 22.5% Body Fat)

Weight and Body Fat
Another 0.1 kg gained! How's that possible? I mean I ran 5km yesterday, walked another 8 and had only 1.650 calories! I guess it's water, as I drink quite much. And if I multiply the body fat percentage with my weight every day, the result indicates a loss of 1.6 kg of body fat since I embarked on my McDiet.

Breakfast
I really didn't feel well this morning due to my cold, so I got up only really late. I had no breakfast.

Lunch
In the afternoon, I went to a new McDonald's I had located to get my first meal today. It's only 600m away from my place, but another one is still nearer with only 380m :-)

First, I wanted to get the new Cheeseburger Deluxe, because it looks like a small burger with much lettuce. I thought I'd have small fries or a yoghurt as side dish. But then I spotted another product I'd never noticed before: the Double Hamburger! That's a Hamburger with two beef patties! As I couldn't decide which burger to take, I got both and omitted the fries and yoghurt.

And this was a geat decision! The Double Hamburger is just right for a beef fan like me, but the Cheeseburger Deluxe is also great! There's so much lettuce on it - I think I'll have it frequently in future, to get some lettuce at all. As I already mentioned, they don't have salads in Singapore McDonald's restaurants.

I also had a coffee with two creamers. I tried to have it without sugar first (as they also don't have sweetener in Singapore), but then I found I needed two sugar stickpacks. They don't list these items on the nutrition website of McDonald's Singapore, but the US site says it's 15 kcal per cream or sugar pack.

I also used the US nutrition site to estimate the calories of the Double Hamburger and the Cheeseburger Deluxe. They don't have these items there, but they chunk the burger calories down to the bun, pattie, lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and ketchup. So I'll calculate 370 kcal per Double Hamburger (that's the 270 of a Singaporean Hamburger plus 100 for the extra pattie) and 325 (the 320 of a Singaporean Cheeseburger plus 5 fot the lettuce and tomatoes).

Dinner
The two burgers kept me full quite some time. To try a third unfamiliar burger today, I had the Spicy Chicken Delight for dinner with a low fat yoghurt. I also bought a milk, but only to find out the amount of the serving, as they do not provide this info on the Singapore McDonald's website.

Again, the Spicy Chicken Delight was packed with lettuce. And it's really spicy. But it's also with mayonnaise, and I guess that provides quite some "bad" fat. Again, I had to estimate the calories using the US website. I'd say it's a regular bun (150), crispy chicken breast filet (220!), lettuce (0!), tomatoes (5), and mayonnaise (100!). That adds to a total of 475 kcal. But I doubt it's really that much, because the McSpicy Double has only 504 kcal, and it has two spicy chicken filets and a sesame seed bun. I'll estimate the Spicy Chicken Delight at 450 kcal.

Apart from the delicious Spicy Chicken Delight, I also enjoyed the low fat strawberry yoghurt.

That's a total of 1.373 kcal today. I am surprised how easy it is to eat only little with McDonald's products.
